Christmas in My Beautiful Canada
New Year's day we did a fun little hike to some beautiful waterfalls. I also sold 50/50 tickets with my brother to get into a Leafs game. It went into overtime and the Leafs won 4-3 (yay!)
So my flight home left at 00:20 on January 3rd which I mistakenly thought meant that it was leaving on Saturday night (Jan 3rd). I woke up Saturday morning with a sinking feeling in my stomach knowing that I was supposed to arrive in Manila on Sunday afternoon and realizing that it would be impossible for me to get to Manila if my flight left Saturday night. I spent a tense hour waiting for everything to open and then I was fortunate enough to get rebooked on a flight Saturday night by paying $160. Pheww!
The last of our guesses in the pool will end this year so we'll be taking new guesses again in the fall. All the best this year boys! :)

What can I say? Christmas with the fam was great. The reunion at Bruce's was spectacular and New Year's with the bros was beautiful. Annnnd, we had lots of snow for Christmas! :)
Skating at Nathan Phillips Square was also a lot of fun. They were practicing for the New Year's Eve concert and it was really cool to hear them. I got a little of it on video (diagonal left). It was so cool to see these guys wearing winter jackets and playing guitars in like -10C. I also never realized how cool some of the Beach Boy's and Beatles music really was. They have some really powerful acapella parts in their music.
We also played some Pit with the fam which was really fun. It's such a fun game was with a big group of people. And yes, we completed the rather large puzzle.
