I’m an avid adventurer, cyclist, camper and hiker. I’ve cycled across Spain on the Camino Santiago, across France on the Euro Velo 6 and across the UK from Lands End to John O’Groats. More recently, with the new addition to our family, we’ve added on a cycle trailer.
I’ve greatly enjoyed the privilege of living and working in so many different cities such as Istanbul, Manila, Madrid, Kaohsiung and now Cardiff. It’s been especially rewarding for me to learn both Chinese and Spanish along the way. I actually taught a math class in Madrid using a Spanish text book when I reached my B1 level of Spanish.
It’s very rewarding for me to be able to help my students along their journeys of learning math, computer science and English and seeing them fill in the gaps that were left from the traditional school systems.
